Our history goes back to 1954 when the Swedish Psychology Association established a combined publishing, research and development institute. The aim was to provide psychologists in the fields of vocational, clinical and educational activities with tools and methods to improve the assessment of individual capabilities.

Our history goes back to 1954 when the Swedish Psychology Association established a combined publishing, research and development institute. The aim was to provide psychologists in the fields of vocational, clinical and educational activities with tools and methods to improve the assessment of individual capabilities.

Our primary objective was the development, adaptation and refinement of assessment tools for the clinical and industrial markets. Central to our efforts was the use of scientifically robust and validated theories and methods to create objective insights into differences in personality, capacity and function and how these insights could be used to predict work related behaviours and activities.

The transformation into a consultancy company began when the company was acquired by Hunter Mabon, senior professor at Stockholm University, whose research focused on the link between human capital and business economics.

Today, Assessio is both a highly reputed international test publisher with a comprehensive DNV GL-certified* assessment portfolio and a HR consultancy company, at the forefront of digital selection and development solutions.

With the Nordic countries as our base we meet client requirements all over the world. The core of our business has been unchanged since 1954: with the aid of scientifically solid test solutions, highly qualified experts and with closely established client partnerships we develop organisations and people – and help them achieve results at the bottom line.
